Associate in Private Capital Investments

Be part of the Ontario Teachers' team in Toronto as a Private Capital Investment Associate. This full-time role focuses on direct investments and enhancing portfolio value.

We are hiring four Associates to contribute to our Private Capital initiatives. You will engage with sector specialists in Financial Services, Services, or Technology to assess investment opportunities and execute transactions. The role offers dynamic responsibilities including developing investment theses and supporting management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess investment opportunities through thorough analysis

• Conduct market mapping and primary research

• Develop and refresh sub-sector investment theses

• Review due diligence materials and legal documents

• Build relationships with portfolio management and sector specialists

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• Strong skills in financial modeling and valuation techniques

• Familiarity with investment evaluation processes

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
