Toronto Office $50,000 – $80,000 5 days/week

The brokers at Benson Mortgages have extensive experience in a wide range of financing scenarios, ensuring unique and ideal plans for each client.

Benson Mortgages is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant who has completed their certification to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting our mortgage services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  • Manage bookkeeping and accounting processes
  • Monitor financial transactions, audit for accuracy and rectification of errors
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with mortgage and loan departments to support financial activities
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Reporting to Senior Financial Controller
Qualifications
  • Certified Chartered Accountant (CPA) or equivalent with completed certification (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related fields (mortgage experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Additional Information
  • In-office position; no remote work option
  • Credit report and police clearance are required
