Responsibilities- Create liquidity funding plan that aligns and supports organizational capital allocation plan/framework.
- Develop strong partnerships across the business to understand future liquidity and working capital requirements for the operating businesses.
- Drive improvements on short‑term cash‑flow forecast across the enterprise.
- Understand and manage components of working capital requirements across the business to drive improvements in indirect cash‑flow forecasting and cash conversion metrics.
- Strategic oversight and execution of Loblaw Supplier Finance program.
- Work closely with Enterprise Procurement team to manage operating plan and achieve financial targets.
- Proactively seek opportunities to optimize liquidity processes and harness technology and statistical models to improve forecasts.
- Regularly review key performance indicators related to working capital, such as inventory turnover and days payable outstanding (DPO), and identify improvement areas.
- Assist in preparing presentations for board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and strategic committees.
- Oversee short‑term investment portfolio and manage investment principles, tenor, and instruments in alignment with governance model and market environment.
- Support other Treasury initiatives and functions as required.
- CPA designation required.
- University degree in Business, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Math.
- MBA/CFA/CTP designations considered an asset.
- 6+ years in a Corporate Treasury environment with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in retail industry considered an asset.
- Proven experience managing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building, guiding, and developing teams.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of the organization professionally.
- Effective negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Extensive experience in corporate liquidity management using direct and indirect methods.
- Experience analysing retail working capital and its impact on cash‑flow metrics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Comfortable interpreting financial statements and external disclosures.
- Firm understanding of Canadian and US payment landscape and related cash‑management structures, tools and services.
- Experience with Power
BI/DAX, and Python for dashboard creation and data analysis is an asset.

Base salary of $170,000–$190,000 per year plus applicable bonus.
