Become a key player at CIBC as an Analyst in Technology & Innovation Investment Banking, focusing on in-depth financial modeling. This full-time role involves quantitative and qualitative analysis to enhance client service opportunities.
As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will support execution activities with a strong emphasis on financial modeling for acquisitions and recapitalizations. Your research skills will contribute significantly as you assist in industry analysis and the identification of business opportunities. Collaborating with senior colleagues, you'll help with client mandates and leverage your technical knowledge to drive transaction ideas forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct industry research to identify investment banking opportunities
• Prepare materials for client coverage and mandate execution
• Utilize technical knowledge to brainstorm transaction ideas
• Support due diligence investigations with senior team members
• Analyze financial models critically for project success
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
• Relevant experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance
• Strong analytical skills with financial modeling
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software
• Ability to manage relationships with clients and teams
