Intact is seeking a Senior Underwriter with a minimum of three years of experience in contract surety or commercial lending. This role involves analyzing financial positions of clients, making underwriting decisions, and fostering client relationships to expand business. You will play a pivotal role in contract surety bond negotiations, ultimately driving success in Intact’s Specialty Solutions offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze detailed underwriting data and financial statements

• Negotiate terms for Contract Surety bonds with clients

• Monitor development projects and associated risks

• Develop new business through networking and marketing

• Represent Intact at industry-related functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance

• 3+ years’ experience in underwriting or commercial lending

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Eligible to work in Canada
