This role is for an experienced trading operations manager with automated trading and middle‑and back‑office experience, responsible for:

• Leading our US spot exchange operations (Alpaca Crypto LLC)
• Leading our Bahamas spot and derivatives exchange operations (Alpaca
  
  X Crypto Limited)
• Building and maintaining our internal trading desk

• Build and manage a globally distributed team of trade ops associates providing 24/5 service coverage.
• Directly engage with our customers, providing world‑class service.
• Review, identify and resolve trade differences.
• Process trade corrections and cancellations.
• Inventory account reconciliation.
• Provide input into new procedures and processes as well as revisions to existing operations procedures and processes.
• Manage our trading desk (internal market maker) and work with engineering to build and monitor trading systems performing automated hedging strategies.
• Manage our global fiat banking relationships.
• Maintain relationships with liquidity providers, token projects and all our vendors.
• Assist with financial and regulatory audits.
• Work closely with engineering to bring industry‑leading crypto products to market.

• Experienced running middle/back office trade operations for a brokerage or crypto exchange.
• Built and managed a globally distributed customer service focused team providing world‑class 24/5 service coverage.
• Experience trading crypto professionally.
• Experience in US crypto regulations.

• Quant research or previously run a trading desk.
• Entrepreneurial experience as co‑founder / founding team of a startup.
• Operated within a SOC 1/2 Type 2 certified environment.
