Full Onsite for 90 days then hybrid 4 days
We are seeking an Operations Officer II to support back‑office financial operations within a leading financial institution with CSC certificate. The role involves managing retirement plan transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and handling internal partner requests through Salesforce in a rapid‑paced, SLA‑driven environment.
Responsibilities- Process and manage Registered Retirement Plans in accordance with CRA guidelines
- Handle withdrawal requests and ensure accurate tax and compliance processing
- Maintain a CSC (Canadian Securities Course) certification
- Receive and respond to internal partner requests via Salesforce
- Maintain high accuracy while adhering to SLAs and compliance standards
- Perform back‑office operational tasks with attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless processing
- Utilize Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and tracking
- Ensure all activities meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in banking or financial institutions
- Strong experience in compliance‑related activities
- Experience working in back‑office operations
- Familiarity with RRSP processes and CRA guidelines is an asset
- Exposure to Salesforce is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Tech‑savvy with the ability to adapt to tools like Salesforce
- Strong team collaboration skills
- University degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
