Wealthsimple is hiring a dedicated Associate Trader for its Regulatory Capital Markets team. This full-time role prioritizes efficiency and collaboration, working directly with trading teams on futures, options, and other assets. You’ll be leading initiatives to optimize workflows, leveraging AI for improved process efficiency, and ensuring the best client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all derivatives trading operations daily

• Lead major product initiatives from scoping to execution

• Build cross-department relationships for better workflow

• Develop operational improvements using SQL and AI tools

• Monitor relevant metrics and support risk mitigation

Requirements:

• CIRO registration for trading future and options

• 2-4 years experience in capital markets

• In-depth knowledge of trading processes and derivatives

• Experience with SQL and process automation

• Excellent detail-oriented communication skills
