Join my Abode as Controller and advance real estate finance operations across Canada. Lead the design of innovative financial systems for over 30,000 yearly transactions.

This Controller position at my Abode is unique in that you’ll be building the finance operations team from the ground up. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, you’ll take charge of end-to-end finance operations, including treasury, payroll, and AP/AR management. You will translate complex problems into effective solutions in a fast-moving landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a solid operational controls framework

• Maintain a clean month-end close and reconciliation

• Ensure efficient AP/AR operations scaling

• Create a dynamic and proactive rolling forecast

• Oversee treasury and procurement finance operations

Requirements:

• CPA with 7+ years of progressive finance experience

• Proven track record in building finance operations

• Skilled at fixing inefficiencies in finance processes

• Ability to make key decisions amid ambiguity

• Experience in the real estate or proptech sector preferred
