Responsibilities
  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions including annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team; execute data collection and data integrity checks.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
  • Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director).
  • Support projects to improve efficiencies and ways of working; embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a high‑performing Finance team; invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers.
  • Provide strategic advice and collaborate with plant leadership to ensure business and financial targets are met and plant operations align with the company’s broader goals.
  • Review and track plant KPIs (waste, overtime, GE) weekly, comparing actual performance vs standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting process; create financial models, analyze variances and provide insights on financial performance to support budgeting decisions.
  • Prepare management reports to analyze budget‑to‑actual variance and track department spending vs actuals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline processes, and automate financial reports.
  • Lead month‑end closing process, ensure accruals are accurate, and resolve complex journal entries independently.
  • Perform costing for new initiatives at bakery; evaluate expenses related to launching new products, processes, or equipment and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • Prepare performance review deck for monthly operations review meetings.
  • Partner with plant operations team to ensure all assumptions for costing are accurate and challenge the status quo.
  • Review plant’s financial performance weekly and monthly; articulate results to Finance Director, Plant Director, and senior leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Technical expertise in financial analysis and data collection/structuring.
  • Business acumen and a basic understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market; relevant experience in a regional or sizeable local business.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills within a larger Finance team; team player with a can‑do mentality to deliver results.
  • Growth/digital mindset and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Integrity and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies, and external regulations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills; well organized.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills as a team player.
Education and Experience
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in finance and manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel; proficiency with Power BI preferred.
Work Schedule

Full‑time (on‑site).

Salary and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position is $84,500 to $105,650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program. Mondelez also offers several generous employee benefits, including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education‑related programs, and enhanced vacation and holiday entitlements.
