A privately held, Canadian organization is seeking a Vice President, Finance & Human Resources to join its senior leadership team during a pivotal period of growth. The company operates in a design‑led, custom manufacturing environment, delivering highly tailored solutions to enterprise and institutional clients across North America. With revenues approaching nine figures, a growing U.S. footprint, and a longstanding reputation for quality and reliability, the business is entering its next phase of disciplined, scalable growth.
Reporting directly to the President, the VP, Finance & HR will be a core member of the executive leadership team, with broad enterprise responsibility spanning:
Financial stewardship and strategic planning
FP&A, forecasting, and performance management
Financial reporting and compliance
Pricing strategy and margin optimization
Risk management, treasury, and currency exposure
Executive oversight and partnership with the Director of Human Resources
This is a role for an experienced, commercially minded finance leader who wants true scope and influence—someone who thrives close to the business, partners deeply with operations, challenges assumptions, and converts insight into action.
The successful candidate will bring experience as:
Head of Finance / CFO in a sizeable, operationally complex organization; or
A strategic number‑two finance leader in a larger enterprise, ready to step into broader executive remit
Ideal backgrounds may include industrial or specialty manufacturing, engineered products, consumer or B2B products, or other operationally intensive, project‑ or customization‑driven environments.
