Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will oversee a dedicated team while fostering relationships across various stakeholders. In this role, you will ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS, manage liquidity, and facilitate effective capital distributions. Your problem-solving skills will help address intricate accounting issues while mentoring team members for improved performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quarterly financial reports to investors
• Present results and insights to senior management
• Manage relationships with service providers for data accuracy
• Review fund investment valuations periodically
• Oversee capital management and investor communications
Requirements:
• University degree along with CPA/CA designation
• Minimum seven years in finance or accounting experience
• Familiarity with private funds is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong analytical skills
• Experience with financial systems including Excel
