Financial Services Representative

As a Financial Services Representative you will be part of a highly engaged branch team dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience. Your primary responsibilities include understanding the financial needs of Members and providing appropriate advice and recommendations, completing front‑line transactional services, and pursuing advisory sales opportunities such as opening new accounts, offering credit, and identifying wealth referral opportunities.

• Provide front‑line transactional services to support Members day‑to‑day banking.
• Identify and execute advisory sales activities, including opening new accounts, offering credit and deposit products, and making qualified referrals.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of all work and ensure proper transaction posting.
• Build and grow Member relationships, fostering revenue‑generating opportunities and cross‑selling appropriate products.
• Serve Members with excellence, demonstrating empathy, patience, and strong consultative skills.
• Utilize virtual technology platforms to host meetings and engage with Members.
• Support branch leadership in implementing corporate strategies and programs.
• Actively participate in business plans, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong business acumen and knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Project management and decision‑making skills; capable of acting decisively and managing time effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to use computer systems and virtual technology platforms.
• Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience in a financial services sales environment (asset).
