Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 37.5 hours per week
PayBase salary: $43,300 – $56,700 CAD per year, eligible for commission-based earnings
Job OverviewThe PIA Client Service Associate supports a portfolio of Investment Advisors by providing specialized administrative support and client service. This frontline role builds the first impression and drives a high‑level client experience, helping Advisors deliver personalized, consultative wealth planning and protection to high‑value clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare documentation and provide updates to Investment Advisors in preparation for client meetings.
- Create reports for analysis of client accounts and communicate findings to customers, offering mentorship on products and services and identifying referral opportunities.
- Accept and create leads, ensuring correct referral coding and administration.
- Submit marketing pieces for approval, compile client information packages, and maintain marketing materials.
- Become familiar with and adhere to compliance requirements, including all aspects of new and existing account documentation and marketing materials.
- Provide a high level of client service, responding to phone, mail and electronic enquiries based on knowledge of full‑service brokerage.
- Deliver the “gold standard” client experience at every interaction with team members, colleagues and clients; prioritize and handle own work and consistently exercise discretion.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and maintain a culture of risk management and operations excellence.
- Use insights to continually improve individual and team performance for clients.
- Participate fully as a team member, continually improving knowledge and keeping others informed and up‑to‑date about status, progress, issues or other related activities.
- Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
- Licensed as an Investment Representative (IR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles or related fields.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially and independently.
- Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset.
- Knowledge of investment products is an asset.
