Manager, Corporate​/Fund Accounting

Our client is a very well know Private Equity / Asset Manager located right downtown Toronto and they are looking to add to their team, a Manager, Fund Accounting on a contractual basis for an initial term of 15 months to backfill for a leave.

*** This is an in-office role and is an individual contributor "doer' role

As the Manager, Fund Accounting, you are responsible for the reporting and administration of their Funds. There are multiple partnership vehicles and feeders. The duties of this role will include:

Administration of the operations, including capital call and distribution notices

Financial reporting - preparation of monthly and quarterly packages

Preparing working papers and tax packages to auditors

Qualifications for this role include:

Accounting designation a must

Previous experience in public accounting strongly preferred

Experience preparing month/quarter and year-end close

Either experience in a similar firm or an aptitude to learn very quickly
