Position: Controller Role at Generis
Join Generis in Toronto as a Controller, shaping the company's financial operations. This full-time position focuses on month-end strength and payroll accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.

In this critical role, you'll manage the integrity of our accounting function while leading month-end close activities, payroll, and tax compliance. Your collaboration with the CFO and Finance team will ensure the reliability of financial reporting, control effectiveness, and a culture of improvement within the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end close on time with detailed reviews

• Manage payroll entries and compliance across North America and EU

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliation processes

• Ensure accurate journal entries and internal controls

• Oversee daily financial operations and cash flow

Requirements:

• CPA or equivalent required

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition

• Hands-on experience in payroll and financial systems

• Leadership experience in building and developing teams
