You're joining a highly collaborative environment dedicated to fund administration excellence. As the first Canadian hire in the Fund Administration team, your role will be to enhance the accounting lifecycle for complex VC and PE funds. Your strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities will help scale Carta's operations and foster continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex accounting for Canadian VC and PE funds

• Collaborate on timely quarter-end and annual closes

• Provide top-tier service to clients with operational excellence

• Implement roadmaps for process improvements and product enhancements

• Build and guide a talented Canadian fund accounting team

Requirements:

• 5+ years in VC or PE fund accounting in Canada

• Proficient in IFRS, ASPE, and Canadian GAAP

• High attention to detail and analytical capabilities

• Strong process-building and risk management skills

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Canadian funds
