As a Senior Accountant reporting to the AVP
- Financial Reporting, you will leverage your CPA credentials and extensive insurance industry experience. You'll manage the preparation of critical financial documentation while ensuring adherence to US GAAP and IFRS. Your knack for financial analysis will be vital for enhancing reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports for US parent and Canadian management teams

• Conduct reconciliations for profitability and performance metrics

• Work closely with various departments for cohesive reports

• Assist in external audits with necessary documentation

• Provide mentorship to junior accountants

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting from an accredited university

• CPA designation is strongly preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of insurance accounting experience

• Excellent understanding of financial regulations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
