Overview
Senior Associate – Finance Transformation (Consulting services). Work alongside CFOs, VP Finance, Controllers, and Finance leaders to optimize finance functions, leveraging technology, AI, and modern finance capabilities.
Responsibilities- Sell and deliver business‑led, technology‑enabled projects to fulfill client needs for Finance Transformation services.
- Prepare and participate in workshops with key finance stakeholders.
- Deliver Finance Transformation engagements, including:
Finance ERP implementations (SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle);
Finance vision and Target Operating Model design;
Finance processes assessment and re‑engineering; AI‑enabled acceleration of engagements. - Support engagement managers/directors/partners in managing risk, economics, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Prepare deliverable content, ensuring quality meets PwC and client expectations.
- Participate in proposal development, market initiatives, and practice development (thought leadership, knowledge management, training).
- Engage in business development and market activities.
- Collaborate with PwC colleagues across other lines of service to support client needs.
- Support junior team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Actively participate in learning, development, and capability building activities within the Finance Transformation practice.
- Interest in digital and AI trends, openness to learning new tools.
- Commitment to valuing diversity and working alongside people from different perspectives.
- Professional finance experience (Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics) is an asset.
- Approximately 3–4 years of consulting or audit experience, especially within a Big 4 firm, is an asset.
- MBA and/or CPA designation is an asset.
- Experience with ERP implementation initiatives (SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle) is an asset.
- Knowledge of and experience in AI for Finance is an asset.
- Working knowledge of core accounting areas:
Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Treasury. - Experience in process improvement or re‑engineering initiatives in core back‑office accounting areas.
Salary range: $84,700 – $134,700 (based on location and experience). Variable incentive pay programs may also be available. Other benefits include competitive compensation, inclusive benefits, and flexibility programs to support well‑being.
