Financial Analyst, Funds

King Sett Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Toronto debt finance team reporting to the Manager of Finance. Toronto, ON

Management of daily cash requirements.

Management of daily debt requirements; managing debt to effectively reduce exposure to fluctuating interest rates.

Fund loan advances and process loan discharges reviewing for completeness and accuracy; resolve any discrepancies as they arise.

Update weekly treasury report that provides management with information for decision making regarding weekly cash and debt movement.

Assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for multiple corporate and fund level bank accounts.

Responsible for monthly review of financial statement account balances including variance analysis to ensure correct recording of transactions, and provide insight to management as to movement in balances.

Preparation of monthly debt covenants; communicating any potential issues noted to management in a timely manner.

Calculate monthly management fees.

Assist with preparation of distribution and capital call calculation files for external investors.

Assist with annual budget expense forecasting.

Ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Assist with year-end audit-related requests and inquiries.

Undergraduate degree in accounting or business commerce

1-2 years of experience in accounting

Exceptional level of Excel proficiency and a strong familiarity with Word and Power Point

Experience using Yardi software is an asset

Experience in the mortgage lending or real estate industries is an asset

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage competing deadlines

Base salary range of $70,000-$75,000
Total compensation includes salary, variable discretionary bonus, benefits, & other perks.
