As a key member of the Investment Management Division, this position reports to the Associate Vice-President and requires expertise in regulatory frameworks. You will engage with investment fund managers to review and guide their compliance with securities legislation while leading strategic initiatives to address emerging issues in the financial market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert review of financial compliance documents
• Engage in policy development to align with market trends
• Oversee disclosure reviews and operational oversight
• Collaborate with OSC divisions and external market stakeholders
• Tackle novel issues concerning investment funds regulation
Requirements:
• Active Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• At least 8 years of experience in financial services
• Profound understanding of capital markets dynamics
• Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
