Position: Transformative Financial Analyst Role
Transform PEBC’s finance function as a Senior Financial Analyst based in Toronto. This hybrid opportunity offers you a hands-on role in accounting with a focus on modernization and process optimization.

In this pivotal role, you will lead month-end close activities and work closely with the new Head of Finance to stabilize and enhance financial processes. Your impact will be felt in a collaborative environment where every team member contributes to the healthcare system's integrity through their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close with accuracy and efficiency

• Assist in financial reporting and variance analysis for stakeholders

• Mentor the Accounting Assistant and provide training on payroll processes

• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial documentation

• Identify improvements and contribute to process modernization

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3–5 years of hands-on financial accounting experience

• CPA designation strongly preferred

• Familiarity with Quick Books Online or similar platforms

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
