In this role, navigate the complexities of capital markets surveillance for the Global Banking and Markets & Treasury division. The Senior Compliance Officer will champion compliance activities, analyzing trading alerts and generating reports while supporting the Compliance team. You will also play a critical role in developing training programs, conducting gap analyses, and ensuring adherence to various regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reviews of OTC product trading alerts

• Generate compliance reporting for trade surveillance efforts

• Support Compliance Officers and senior management

• Research regulatory inquiries and investigations

• Develop and deliver compliance training programs

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in financial compliance

• Advanced understanding of various trading products

• Canadian Securities Course or equivalent designation

• Proficient in advanced Excel and coding skills

• Bilingual communication skills preferred
