Position OverviewThis role supports senior members of the Equity Capital Markets team in executing private placements and related settlement activities for Richardson Wealth Investment Advisors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and effective in a fast-paced environment. The role involves regular coordination with issuers, Investment Advisors, legal counsel, operations, and compliance to support private placement distribution and settlement. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills are essential.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Manage non‑brokered private placements, including subscription review, submission, communication, ticketing, and settlement
- Support brokered financings by coordinating with dealers, tracking orders, and helping complete transactions
- Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate transaction records, documentation, and pipeline tracking
- Perform daily inventory management and reconciliations in Dataphile and NIAD
- Assist with transaction execution and other team priorities as needed
- 5+ years in financial services, including 2+ years in capital markets
- Experience supporting or working with Investment Advisors
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and accountability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- Familiarity with Dataphile and NIAD is an asset
- Post‑secondary education in a related field is preferred
- CSC and CPH completion is an asset
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $70,200 - $78,000. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
