Senior Tax Manager

Position: Senior Income Tax Manager
Take the lead as a Senior Income Tax Manager in Toronto with a focus on tax accounting and compliance. This role emphasizes collaboration and reporting for Canadian entities, with a strong onsite presence.

Our Toronto-based company is seeking a seasoned tax professional to manage income tax operations for assigned entities. You will handle compliance, disclosures, and analyses while guiding a team of tax professionals. Your responsibilities also extend to tax planning initiatives and partnering with Finance to enhance processes and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage income tax accounting and reporting for Canadian entities

• Lead tax compliance including audits and returns

• Review tax provisions and journal entries for accuracy

• Enhance tax processes with Finance partners

• Mentor and develop tax staff for team growth

Requirements:

• CPA or MBA with accounting/tax experience

• Completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program preferred

• Over 5 years of income tax experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
