Pension Investments Senior Manager

Seize the opportunity as a Senior Manager for Pension Investments at RBC in Toronto, Canada. This position focuses on the strategic management of pension assets and investment performance oversight. In this senior role, you will partner with investment professionals to support RBC's defined benefit and contribution pension plans.

Your responsibilities include evaluating external managers, monitoring portfolio strategy effectiveness, and implementing risk mitigation practices. You'll contribute to responsible investing efforts and prepare detailed investment reports for senior leadership.

• Evaluate and select investment managers for diverse portfolios
• Monitor existing investment strategies for performance alignment
• Conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies
• Attend investment meetings and report findings
• Enhance the investment due diligence process continually

• 5 to 7 years’ experience in asset management
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI and Python a plus
• Understanding of ESG integration in investment decisions
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related disciplines
• Progress toward a qualified finance designation is preferred
