This position requires two to five years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, or budgeting. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, assisting managers with budget submissions, and performing variance analysis on the financial statements.

Your role will be key to maintaining compliance and providing insight into financial operations through detailed reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preparation of annual agency budget

• Prepare year-to-date financial reports and journal entries

• Conduct variance analysis of general ledger

• Maintain year-end audit schedules and reconciliations

• Complete GST returns and Statistics Canada reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting

• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and project management skills
