As Actuary Manager, you will oversee pension calculations, ensuring accuracy in retirements and death cases, while becoming a key expert in pension legislation and administration practices.
Your role involves enhancing actuarial tools and supporting impactful governance initiatives within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review complex pension calculations for accuracy and compliance
• Provide actuarial guidance on pension regulations and administration
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on complex cases
• Drive improvements in actuarial processes and operational efficiency
• Mentor and technically guide actuarial team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• ASA/ACIA designation required, FSA/FCIA progress is an asset
• 6 to 9 years of pension actuarial experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and actuarial modelling tools
• Experience with Ontario pension legislation and public sector pensions
