Fund Accounting Manager

Aplin is seeking an experienced Manager for Fund Accounting with at least two years in hedge funds or investment fund accounting. You will oversee financial reporting, act as client liaison, and manage a team of 5+ accounting professionals. Your expertise in investment strategies and derivatives will contribute to the firm’s success while ensuring compliance and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reports and profit allocation statements

• Act as liaison for client inquiries and reporting

• Mentor and supervise fund accounting team tasks

• Participate in client onboarding and fund launches

• Review accounting procedures to enhance NAV production

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Minimum 2 years in hedge funds or investment accounting

• Professional accounting designation or CFA preferred

• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
