Financial Analyst Co-op in Packaging Tech

Join our dynamic team as an FP&A Analyst Co-op in Toronto, focusing on financial forecasting and reporting for 11 global businesses in the Packaging & Food Technology segment. This role entails hands-on exposure to advanced financial systems.

The Finance department seeks a Co-op student for a 4- to 8-month term, where you will report directly to the FP&A Manager. Your responsibilities will include assisting with financial planning, compiling data from divisional leaders, and preparing analytical reports. Strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the AOP and monthly forecasting processes

• Compile operational metrics and perform variance analysis

• Prepare executive-level summary reports and presentations

• Track segment metrics such as Revenue and Gross Margin

• Enhance reporting systems with One Stream and improve templates

Requirements:

• Currently studying Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• Competency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools

• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
