We are looking for a skilled Budget Officer to ensure precise financial management and reporting. This full-time permanent position is central to overseeing departmental operating budgets, grant accounts, and research funding. Your analytical acumen will be needed to prepare financial projections and reconcile monthly statements with the University of Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily financial administration and transactions
• Reconcile statements from internal and external partners
• Prepare budget projections and monitor expenditures
• Produce financial reports for monthly and annual reviews
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve administrative issues
Requirements:
• Diploma in business administration or accounting
• Five years of experience in financial administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for budget analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
