Position: Senior Accountant for Project Finance
Join Aecon's finance team as a Senior Project Accountant, focusing on delivering accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls. A strong command of Excel and IFRS is required for this role.

This position is pivotal in managing project accounting functions  will be responsible for preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations. Collaborating with stakeholders will be key to providing meaningful financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and statements

• Oversee the comprehensive accounting process for projects

• Facilitate invoicing and prepare audit support materials

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations

• Create and monitor financial budgets and forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA designation required

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to navigate uncertainty and shifting priorities
