We are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist for a contract position with immediate availability. With responsibilities centered around customer collections, account management, and problem resolution, this role supports both our finance team and client interactions. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in collections processes and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly outreach to delinquent accounts
• Follow up on payment arrangements and commitments
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies effectively
• Prepare weekly summaries of delinquent account statuses
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 4+ years in collections or accounts receivable
• Post-secondary education in finance or related field
• Strong knowledge of collections processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
