Investment Grade Product Control Analyst

Become a key player at RBC as a Senior Analyst in Product Control, based in Toronto. This role requires an early start to cover the UK desk, focusing on trading validations and P&L reconciliation.

RBC's Product Control team is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to support the Investment Grade Europe desk. You will bring strong product knowledge and collaborate with both the Front Office and Financial Control to resolve discrepancies in daily P&L. Key responsibilities involve production of daily P&L, risk analysis, and consolidated reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce daily desk P&L and commentaries

• Reconcile P&L to trader estimates promptly

• Support investigations on FOBO reconciliation activities

• Report consolidated results and valuation adjustments

• Facilitate adherence to regulatory and audit requirements

Requirements:

• 4+ years in Product Control or Trading desk functions

• Relevant undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

• Strong numerical and accounting skills, CPA preferred

• Excellent communication with Front Office personnel

• Proficient in MS Excel and capable of working under pressure
