Make an impact with our Forensics & Litigation Support team as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals combines accounting and investigative expertise to protect clients’ assets and reputation. As a trusted advisor, you’ll implement anti-fraud controls and resolve fraud emergencies, reducing clients’ exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing.

Responsibilities
Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputesDraft and execute investigative plans on sensitive litigious matters, objectively analyze complex financial mattersDraft clear, well-supported investigative reports, working papers and findings, ensuring all conclusions are supported by documented evidence and articulated rationaleOrganize and maintain evidence files in a structured, logical and auditable manner to support regulatory, legal and internal review processesManage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (engagement letters, budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)Plan and execute interviews, data analysis and document reviews as part of complex investigations and litigation mattersLead and support proactive forensic engagements, including fraud risk assessments, fraud risk management reviews and control enhancement initiativesCalculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and tracing funds/accountsProvide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverablesIdentify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and developMaintain high quality, defensible work product, applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s businessNetwork in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needsDemonstrate the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teamsMentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviewsMaintain flexibility to travel, as necessarySkills and Experience
Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) is considered an assetCPA and CFE designation6 to 7 years of public accounting experience; advisory or consulting experience is considered an assetStrong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial matters into clear, concise and defensible reportsExperience organizing, analyzing and synthesizing large volumes of financial and documentary evidenceExperience performing fraud risk assessments, control reviews or forensic advisory services is considered an assetExperience in business and practice developmentProven people management, relationship building and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative, work both independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program
