Senior Financial Analyst - Reporting

About Our Client:

Canadian based REIT company that is globally recognized, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst
- Reporting to join their team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Accounting and Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst
- Reporting tasks will follow:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including financial statements and operating costs
• Journal entries / accruals; ensuring accurate revenue recognition
• Bank reconciliations
• Support with note disclosures and MD&A
• Preparing variance, trend and other required ad-hoc analysis
• Supporting the external audit process and providing guidance to overall accounting and finance team

• Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business
• 3+ years of progressive financial reporting experience
• 2 + years Big 4 experience
• IFRS knowledge
• Experience working within the real estate space
• Intermediate Excel skills and a strong aptitude for systems
• CPA designated or really close
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities
• Positive attitude towards being in office
