Financial Controller at Financial Modeling Prep

Join Financial Modeling Prep as a Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations, reporting directly to the MD Finance. This role requires strong CPA skills and a flair for process improvement in a fintech environment.

In this mid-level position, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations crucial for the accuracy and integrity of FMP’s financial reporting system. Candidates should have 2-5 years of post-designation experience and be comfortable handling multi-entity consolidation while operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes

• Prepare consolidated financial statements under ASPE/IFRS

• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and chart of accounts

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors

• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• 2–5 years post-designation experience

• Strong ASPE and IFRS knowledge

• Experience in multi-entity accounting

• Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms
