Associate Manager for Risk Management

Join the Reverse Mortgage team as an Associate Manager focused on risk management and operational success. Play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day operations and executing established procedures.

This role entails reporting to the Senior Manager while actively collaborating with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Legal, and Compliance. You will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your insights will drive the development of risk strategies, identify gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily team operations and periodic reporting

• Develop and implement risk strategies for the business

• Manage internal projects and support regulatory compliance

• Conduct root cause analysis for operational risks

• Prepare documentation for processes and controls

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or Finance is preferred

• Minimum five years in Canadian financial institutions

• Experience in residential or reverse mortgage operations

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Familiar with regulatory requirements like OSFI B20
