Be part of Scotiabank's Fraud Detection Team as a Fraud Prevention Analyst in Scarborough, Ontario.
Your role will focus on safeguarding clients from fraudulent payment card activities while enhancing customer relationships.
In this role, you will assess alerts generated by our fraud monitoring systems and decide on appropriate actions to minimize losses. Collaborating with branches and other financial institutions, you will analyze trends and engage customers to ensure account security and trust. This position requires flexibility as it operates within a 24-hour framework, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze fraud alerts and trends effectively
• Block or adjust accounts as fraud is confirmed
• Work with branches to validate suspicious actions
• Meet service level agreements for alert management
• Share insights within the Fraud Detection Team
Requirements:
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Strong commitment to customer service excellence
• Ability to manage high workloads and prioritize effectively
• Basic knowledge of PC applications is essential
• Experience in retail banking or call center is an asset
