Join OPTrust as a Finance Operations Analyst in Toronto, Ontario on a flexible hybrid basis. This 24-month contract emphasizes payments and tax slip management.
In this role, the Finance Operations Analyst will oversee cheque preparation, reconciliation, and support tax extract responsibilities. With a solid foundation in finance gained from 2 to 4 years of experience, you will collaborate with the Corporate Finance team to fulfill critical operational tasks while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process cheques ensuring compliance with signing authorities
• Reconcile payments and maintain credit card records
• Issue and reconcile year-end tax slips for pensioners
• Prepare detailed internal reports and presentations
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in finance or related field preferred
• Relevant finance experience between 2 to 4 years
• Working knowledge of financial software like Tax Prep
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
