Derivatives Specialist

Position: Full Time Derivatives Specialist
CIBC Mellon is seeking a Derivatives Specialist in Toronto to manage derivative transactions, ensure client satisfaction, and enhance cash management operations. This full-time position involves client servicing, reporting, and foreign currency forecasting.

As a valued member of the Special Investments Group, you will process daily derivatives transactions while upholding high standards of service and accuracy.

Your role includes validating signatures, managing cash sweeps, and maintaining up-to-date pricing files. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential to thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to client and advisor inquiries for relationship building

• Process derivative transactions and cash management functions

• Collaborate with team for improved processes and controls

• Validate signatures to reduce transaction risks

• Maintain accurate pricing and collateral records

Requirements:

• University degree required

• Minimum of 2 years in the securities industry

• Knowledge of derivative strategies and operations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
