Position: Financial Leadership Controller Role
Drive financial strategy as a Controller with a dynamic Canadian company redefining operational excellence and safety. This hands-on leadership role directly supports the CFO and impacts organizational growth.

Our client seeks a Controller to join its executive leadership team. You will spearhead all financial operations while mentoring a team of accountants. Critical skills include CPA designation, advanced Quick Books proficiency, and a strategic mindset for collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations ensuring accuracy

• Manage general ledgers for detailed management reporting

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes

• Collaborate with CFO on accounting policies and ASPE compliance

• Mentor finance team fostering accountability and improvement

Requirements:

• CPA designation required (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA Canada)

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience

• Degree or diploma in finance or accounting

• Advanced Quick Books Desktop proficiency

• Exceptional communication skills to translate financial data
