The Equity Division of TD Securities Inc., is one of Canada’s leading Institutional Equity operations which provides equity sales, trading, research, underwriting and distribution with offices across North America, Europe and Asia.
The Role - Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities- Execute trades in Canadian and US Equities.
- Manage and reconcile trading inventories.
- Develop, maintain and grow relationships with private investment advisors and institutional clients to maximize trade flow.
- Cultivate new and deepen existing relationships.
- Assist the broader trading desk.
- Experience in equity trade execution.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and financial products.
- Demonstrated strong business analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities, initiative and creativity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a self‑starter.
- Strong team player.
- Advanced PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and the ability to learn new applications.
- A willingness to work flexible hours.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) – Must Have.
- Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) – Must Have.
- Trader Trading Course (TTC) – candidate will need to complete.
