CIB Director, Investment Risk Assessment

Shape the future of infrastructure finance as the Director of Investment Risk at the Canada Infrastructure Bank. Lead critical assessments in project finance with a strategic vision.

In this role, reporting to the VP, Investment Risk, you will focus on risk evaluation for complex infrastructure project finance deals. You'll guide analytical processes, review financial models, and mentor the next generation of investment professionals. Your strategic insights will play a pivotal role in aligning organizational goals with project financing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial models for infrastructure investment risks

• Conduct sensitivity analyses focusing on revenue risk

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

• Mentor and enhance junior staff capabilities in investment risk

• Collaborate with various departments on investment portfolios

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics; CFA or MBA preferred

• 7–10 years of relevant credit analysis experience

• Hands-on experience in infrastructure investment and project finance

• Proficient in analytical and modeling tools

• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
