Position: Principal Trader at OPTrust

As part of OPTrust’s Investment Division, this full-time role emphasizes collaboration within a skilled team focused on total portfolio management. You will develop and implement strategies for Canada and U.S. fixed income, manage liability hedging, and execute trades across various asset classes. Your contributions directly impact OPTrust's mission of securing pensions today and into the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop fixed income and FX strategies for optimal returns

• Manage the Plan's liability hedging program efficiently

• Execute trades in derivatives and cash products

• Perform investment-related reporting and analysis

• Collaborate effectively with risk and compliance teams

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in trading and portfolio management

• Strong knowledge of derivatives and financial products

• Proficient in Python, VBA, and SQL

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Degree in finance, business, or related field
