Job Summary
The Finance Manager will support Advisor Distribution & National Accounts teams by leading business case development, financial modeling, and strategic analyses to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities- Lead business case development for strategic projects.
- Provide financial models, sensitivity analyses, and executive briefings.
- Collaborate with Advisor Sales and other stakeholders on wholesaling strategy.
- Maintain complex financial models and interpret distribution structure.
- Deliver presentations to senior management including President, CFO, and Executive Team.
- Support market, industry, and competitive research.
- Coordinate cross‑functional finance support (Accounting, Tax, Analytics, Reporting).
- Lead business planning and forecasting, budgeting, and KPI development.
- Present business cases to executive committee for review.
- Develop and produce management reports and analytics.
- Participate in project and steering committees as finance lead.
- 4+ years in financial analysis within a finance department.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Completion of a CPA (CA, CMA, CGA) or MBA.
- Experience as Finance Manager or equivalent, preferred.
- Financial Services industry experience preferred.
- Experience with pricing strategy preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong financial modeling and sensitivity analysis skills.
- Business acumen to translate financial concepts into business terms.
- Time management and project management fundamentals.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI knowledge.
- Organizational and collaboration skills with cross‑department partners.
- Current work authorization in Canada required.
- Base Salary $105,000–$140,000 per annum.
- Discretionary Performance Bonus.
- RRSP contribution after 6 months.
