Position: Anti-Money Laundering Analyst at American Express
American Express is hiring a Compliance Analyst for its Toronto, ON (Hybrid) office to support AML & ATF programs. Focus on investigative activities and financial crime risk management.

As part of the AML Operations team, this role demands conducting detailed investigations of transaction alerts and maintaining documentation for compliance purposes. You will collaborate with various teams and stay updated on regulatory developments while managing workloads effectively. This position offers exposure to comprehensive AML operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations on alerts and suspicious transactions

• Create detailed case files for required regulatory reports

• Support due diligence reviews and sanctions screenings

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams on procedural updates

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent combination of education needed

• Experience in AML operations or compliance preferred
