Senior Actuarial Associate

Position: Senior Actuarial Associate at Munich Re
Elevate your career with Munich Re as a Senior Actuarial Associate in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on delivering top actuarial solutions while collaborating on technical projects across various global markets.

As part of the Global Actuarial Consulting Group, you will play a pivotal role in model development, pricing analysis, and valuation. Your responsibilities will span projects with internal clients, including Corporate Actuarial and Financial Reinsurance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll employ your analytical skills while mentoring junior actuaries and presenting insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design actuarial models for regional reinsurance structures

• Build pricing models for new business quotes

• Conduct experience studies and develop actuarial assumptions

• Analyze and visualize data for stakeholder presentations

• Support risk analysis and sensitivity testing

Requirements:

• University degree in Actuarial Science or related field

• FSA or in progress towards FSA

• 3+ years actuarial experience in Life and Health insurance

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Experience with AXIS, SQL, and/or Python is beneficial
