Position: Toronto OTC Confirmations Analyst Needed
Drive accuracy at Scotiabank as an OTC Confirmations Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely confirmation of OTC derivative trades while upholding compliance with internal regulations.

As part of the GWO Confirmations team, you will manage the entire confirmation process for OTC derivatives. You'll investigate unmatched trades and work closely with both internal and external parties to resolve any discrepancies. Your attention to detail in trade confirmations will contribute directly to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee confirmation processes for various OTC derivatives

• Monitor unmatched trades and collaborate on resolutions

• Conduct daily control checks for trade confirmation accuracy

• Utilize systems such as DTCC and Xceptor for validations

• Manage reconciliations and exception tracking effectively

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives and confirmations

• Direct experience with trade confirmation processing

• Familiarity with platforms like Markit Wire

• Understanding of internal compliance and risk frameworks

• Experience with exception management processes
