Senior Finance Director

Position: Senior Finance Director Role
Take charge of finance and operations as Senior Director at The King’s Trust Canada, based in downtown Toronto. This hybrid position prioritizes effective financial stewardship and operational success.

In this role, reporting to the CEO, you will direct finance management, audit preparation, and payroll functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards for nonprofits. Your leadership will drive budgeting processes and support funding agreements, establishing a solid financial foundation to advance TKTC’s mission. Collaborating across departments will be essential to achieving the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls

• Manage budgeting and financial forecasting with teams

• Supervise payroll and compliance processes

• Oversee contract administration and vendor management

• Provide insights to Audit and Risk Committee

Requirements:

• CPA designation or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 7–10 years in finance or operations

• Expertise in nonprofit financial practices

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience with external advisors and compliance
